Dark Sky Terrain was founded in 2026 by Cody Brigan, a lifelong artist, Navy veteran, and passionate D&D player. Every piece is built entirely by hand, born from a deep love of tabletop storytelling and a restless need to create things that didn't exist before.
Originally from Mahtowa, Minnesota and a descendant of the White Earth band of the Ojibwe, Cody served as a submariner in the U.S. Navy before building a career as a tattoo artist starting in 2009. That same dedication to craft, to making something permanent and meaningful with your hands, carries through into every piece of terrain that leaves the workshop. Every build is one of a kind, made the same way it was always meant to be made: by hand.
Every stone, plank, and root is shaped by hand. No two pieces are ever the same. Each carries the mark of the craftsman.
